Howe Sound near Vancouver is the southern most fjord in North America. Enveloped by towering peaks that rise directly from the sea, Howe Sound serves as Vancouver’s playground for Diving. Discover stunning marine life, sponge gardens, walls, reefs, pinnacles, rock overhangs, artificial reefs and ship wrecks.
Exploring the waters around Vancouver by boat opens the door to many different dive sites not accessible by land, and often with better visibility.
Howe Sound Boat Diving Itinerary:
- 8:00Am Meeting at the Horseshoe Bay Public Dock
- Please arrive as early as possible to start loading the boat.
- After unloading gear, there is paid lots for parking vehicles.
- 9:00AM – Departure from Horseshoe Bay
- The boat departs at 9AM.
- Please make sure that all gear is loaded and set on board before taking off.
- 2 x Guided boat dives
- We’ll have an hour longer surface interval between dives
- Warm drink, soup or snacks
- 2:00PM – Arrive back at Horseshoe Bay
- We will arrive back at Horseshoe Bay at 2PM
- Unload our gear from the boat
- Optional post dive hangout and lunch at Trolls Restaurant
Whats Included with Your Boat Dives:
- ✅ A Padi Dive Master or Instructor to assist you with planning your dives and brief the different sites
- ✅ 2 Guided boat dives at two of over 25 different sites. Sites are picked based on conditions and diver experience levels
- ✅ Hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soup during our surface interval.
- ✅ Boat transportation from Horseshoe Bay to and from the dive sites.
