Do you have a trip to the tropics coming up!? Well this course maybe be what you are looking for. Complete all of your E-learning and pool sessions here in Vancouver, and complete your ocean dives in warmer waters. This option is perfect for maximizing your time on vacation and spend it in the ocean instead of in the pool.

Your Learning Journey

1. Knowledge Development

  • Independent study using the PADI E-learning or User Manual.
  • Learn the basic principles of scuba diving and the underwater environment.
  • Attend classroom sessions to review your knowledge and ask any questions.

2. Confined Water Dives

  • Learn and practice all of the essential scuba diving skills.
  • 5 confined water pool sessions.
  • Build up your confidence and skills so you’re ready for your vacation.

3. Finish your ocean dives on vacation

Whats Included with Your Course:

  • PADI Open Water Diver E-learning or Manual.
  • 5 hours of classroom instruction and learning.
  • 5 hours of Confined Water training in a local Vancouver area pool.
  • ALL RENTAL EQUIPMENT IS INCLUDED – This includes BCD, regulators, fins, tanks and weights.
  • PADI Student Record, give this to the dive shop where you will be completing the ocean dives.

Private Tropical Referral- $995

Learn at your own pace! Increased schedule Flexibility with pool sessions and ocean days.

Get the most our of your course, receive one on one instruction with one of our PADI certified professionals. You’ll have the full attention of your instructor!

Semi-private Advanced Open Water – $750

Have a buddy you would like to learn with? Bring a friend! This option is designed for two people.

Learn with someone you’ll dive with! This is a great option for friends, family or anyone else you’d like to learn with. Get more time with your instructor.

Group Tropical Referral – $595

Join other new divers in one of our group courses. This course has a set 3 week schedule. See below to book this option.

Enrollment Requirements:

To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be 10 years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. No prior experience with scuba diving is required.


Meet your instructor:

Olivia has a passion for the ocean, wildlife and its protection. She has been diving since 2022 and logged over 600 dives in British Columbia’s waters. As an avid technical sidemount diver, she brings a healthy pool of knowledge to every course she teaches.
