Howe Sound near Vancouver is the southern most fjord in North America. Enveloped by towering peaks that rise directly from the sea, Howe Sound serves as Vancouver’s playground for snorkeling and freediving. Discover stunning marine life, sponge gardens, walls, reefs, pinnacles, rock overhangs, artificial reefs and ship wrecks.
Exploring the waters around Vancouver by boat opens the door to many different dive sites not accessible by land, and often with better visibility.
Howe Sound Boat Snorkel Tour:
Charter from Horseshoe Bay
- 10:30am Meet at Horseshoe Bay Public Dock
- Please arrive as early as possible to start loading the boat.
- After unloading gear, there is paid lots for parking vehicles.
- 11:30am – Departure from the dock
- The boat departs at 9AM.
- Please make sure that all gear is loaded and set on board before taking off.
- 2 x Guided snorkel tours
- We’ll have a 45 minute long surface interval between snorkeling
- Warm drink, soup or snacks
- 3:00pm – Arrive back in Horseshoe Bay
- We will arrive back at Horseshoe Bay at 3PM
- Unload our gear from the boat
Whats Included with Your Howe Sound Snorkel Tour:
- A Padi Dive Master or Instructor to assist you with gear and brief the different sites
- Guided Snorkel Tours of 2 different sites. Sites are picked based on conditions and snorkeler experience levels
- Hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soup during our surface interval.
- Boat transportation from North Vancouver to and from the snorkeling sites.
- All rental Equipment: 7mm Wetsuit, gloves, hoods, boots, fins, mask, snorkel and weight belt.
