Snorkeling in the Indian Arm
Explore the scenic waters of the Indian Arm.
Indian Arm is a steep-sided glacial fjord in southwestern British Columbia. Formed during the last Ice Age, it extends due north from Burrard Inlet. Steps away from Vancouver, this rugged coastline boasts some of the best diving in the area. Sheltered from large storms these waters are often calm and crystal clear during the winter making them ideal for snorkeling in the cooler months.
Exploring the waters around Vancouver by boat opens the door to many different snorkeling sites not accessible by land, and often with better visibility.
Indian Arm Boat Snorkel Tour:
Charter from North Vancouver
- 8:00am Meet at Cates Park
- Please arrive as early as possible to start loading the boat.
- After unloading gear, there is paid lots for parking vehicles.
- 9:00am – Departure from the dock
- The boat departs at 9AM.
- Please make sure that all gear is loaded and set on board before taking off.
- 2 x Guided snorkel tours
- We’ll have a 45 minute long surface interval between snorkeling
- Warm drink, soup or snacks
- 2:00pm – Arrive back in North Vancouver
- We will arrive back at Cates Park at 2PM
- Unload our gear from the boat
Whats Included with Your Indian Arm Snorkel Tour:
- A Padi Dive Master or Instructor to assist you with gear and brief the different sites
- Guided Snorkel Tours of 2 different sites. Sites are picked based on conditions and diver experience levels
- Hot coffee, tea, hot chocolate or soup during our surface interval.
- Boat transportation from North Vancouver to and from the dive sites.
